Tz'utu Ja

Tz'utuja es el nombre antigo del templo de K'ajb'a Ja, un sitio importante en el pasaje sagrado del pueblo k'iche'. Conforme al lingüista k'iche' Sam Colop (2008: 208n365), "Tz'utuja, como ya se dijo antes, quiere decir 'casa de la flor de maíz' y K'ajbaja significaría 'casa del sacrificio.'" Tz'utuja is the ancient name of the temple of K'ajb'a Ja, an important site in the sacred landscape of the K'iche' world. According to K'iche' linguist Sam Colop (2008: 208n365), K'ajb'a Ja means "House of Sacrifice" and Tz'utuja means "House of the Maize Plant."
