Corrección de ortografía

En la columna k'iche', el padre dominico Francisco de Ximénez (1666-1729) o quizá un asistente suyo parece corregir algo que fue mal escuchado o escrito. Aquí se observa que una "b" o tal vez una "p" está corregida con una "h." Tal corrección está sobreescrita con tinta negra, a cambio de la tinta que se usa típicamente en el manuscrito. La corrección de ortografía preserva la palabra "hun" (jun en el k'iche' contemporáneo), tal como se escribe a lo largo del manuscrito. Here, in the K'iche'-language column, Dominican friar Francisco de Ximénez (1666-1729) or one of his Indigenous assistants, seems to have corrected a letter that was miscopied or poorly understood. Although it is hard to read beneath the correction, it appears that a "b" or "p" was changed to an "h," ensuring that the word "hun" (one, now written as jun) is spelled consistently throughout the manuscript.
